Pride Points are given to children for showing pride in
· their work
· their appearance
· their manners, and
· demonstrating the school core values.
An integral part in demonstrating positive behaviour for learning is taking pride in ourselves and being aware of how our words and actions impact on the wellbeing of oneself as well as others in our school and wider community. Every child and adult at Napier Primary and Nursery Academy holds equal responsibility in upholding the 4 rights we value so dearly. By highlighting the positive attitude displayed by our pupils, we hope to build a strong ethos that runs through the core of our teaching and learning practice throughout the school. These foundations begin in the EYFS and are developed all the way through to our eldest and wisest pupils in year 6. Together with enthusiasm and high expectations we believe that all children will find the aspiration to reach their full potential and go on to become life-long learners.
