In accordance with The Department for Education we aim to actively promote British values in schools to ensure young people leave school prepared for life in modern Britain. Pupils are encouraged to regard people of all faiths, races and cultures with respect and tolerance and understand that while different people may hold different views about what is ‘right’ and ‘wrong’, all people living in England are subject to its law.
The Key Values are:
rule of law
tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs
A note to our children and the school community....
We live in a world of people who are different in so many ways and yet so similar in others, you see that everyday in the school playground and your classroom. It's the same, on a bigger scale, for the whole world. Whoever you are and whatever you choose to be, be the best you can. Always striving to get better. And, very importantly, remember that others may want to be different to you. That's a great thing, so allow them to be the best they can be too.
