Our new Vision Statement captures the essence of our happy and caring school. We launched our Vision at the beginning of September after extensive consultation with pupils (through our lower and upper School Councils), parents, staff and governors.
Discussions in assemblies and in classes remind us of what we collectively want our school to be like so that everyone feels they are:
· Valued
· Happy and Safe
· Achieving the very best that we can.
Our art competition was a huge success. Pupils were asked to illustrate the Vision Statement either in part or as a whole. There were some extremely impressive pictures. Mrs. Slade and Mr. Cross had to select fourteen winners (two from each year group) from hundreds of entries from across the whole school. Well-done to everyone who took part. The winners were presented with their prizes in a whole school assembly where their pictures were displayed. You can view the winning entries here.
