School Meals

ZZ_1118217664_

Here you will find information about our meals including what is served each day.

Dinner money should be brought in (in a labelled envelope, with your child’s name and Class) on MONDAY. The cost is: £2.06 per day or £10.30 per week. Pupils tell their teacher at daily registration whether they want a school meal (a hot meal or a school packed lunch). We give dinner tokens to take down to the dinner hall for all school dinners. If you are joining your child for lunch the cost is £2.94.

We have some families who have debts mounting and Chartwells, our catering company, have asked us to remind all parents about the agreed policy:

Warning Letter 1 - Chartwells send a letter home if dinner money is not paid.

Warning Letter 2 - If the debt is not paid Chartwells will send a letter home which gives you notice that your child’s dinner will be stopped if the debt remains unpaid for 7 days. This letter is posted to your home address.

If the debt remains unpaid then Chartwells will inform the school that the child cannot have a school dinner anymore.

Please can we urge you not to allow school dinner debts to build up. All debts must be paid, even those which build up before the Local Authority issue you with a free school meal permit. Debts will continue to be chased even when your child leaves the school.

If you believe your child is entitled to free school meals then please collect a form from the school office.

We would like to thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
