Parents can now log in and view our school calendar via the SharePoint link on the right hand side of this page; log in details are ’8872406.Parent’ and the password is ’napier’ - all case sensitive.

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils, achieving equal opportunities and combating discrimination.

There is a possibility we may face icy and snowy conditions over the coming weeks and we have a duty to endeavour to keep the school open during such events. However, in the event of severe weather the school will:

• Assess the situation on the morning of the event, looking closely at weather forecasts. This will include assessing the number of staff present, whether we can heat the school and provide school dinners, whether water is available and toilets are working satisfactorily.
• Endeavour to make a decision about closing or staying open by 08:00 on that morning.
• Communicate information through this web-page (refresh it every few minutes), the school answer-phone message, through local radio, and also via SchoolComms directly to parents (do we have an up to date mobile phone number for you?). The school will only contact parents via SchoolComms in the event of a closure.
